Abstract
Description
Technical field
The invention relates to the construction of a porous cellulose acetate membrane on a substrate and a method for its preparation. Such a membrane has found application for fine filtration (ultrafiltration and microfiltration), analysis, concentration and purification of wastewater, fruit and berry juices, beer, wine, for fractional separation of various mixtures, for concentration of diluted solutions of high molecular weight compounds, their purification from low molecular fractions, for the concentration of milk, whey and biopharmaceuticals. The main advantage of the porous cellulose acetate membrane - hydrophilicity and affordability - allows you to use this membrane in a wide variety of fields of technology and technology beyond the above. But this membrane also has certain drawbacks - relatively low strength when it is manufactured according to the non-collateral option, or the relatively complex, expensive, environmentally hazardous technology for its production according to the so-called. "wet" method, when the membrane is made on a porous substrate. Therefore, increasing the strength properties of the cellulose acetate membrane and simplifying the technology of its manufacture is an urgent task.

The basis of the invention is to create a porous cellulose acetate membrane on a porous substrate with high strength, technological and operational characteristics. This task includes the particular task of creating an industrially feasible, well reproducible, more environmentally advanced "dry" method for the manufacture of a porous cellulose acetate membrane on a porous lavsan substrate.
ч. ч. The problem is solved in that the proposed porous cellulose acetate membrane consists of:
- a porous substrate made of lavsan paper with an average pore size of from 0.5 to 10.0 μm and having a thickness in the range of 45.0-120.0 μm, and this substrate, being the main supporting structure of the claimed membrane, is completely and uniformly impregnated (i.e., its entire porous structure is coated) with a porous cellulose acetate polymer having an average intrinsic pore size of 0.01 to 0.45 μm and consisting of a 1: 1 mixture by weight:
a) cellulose acetate containing from 54.6 to 55.2 wt.% bound acetic acid and not more than 7.0 wt.% low molecular weight fractions, and
b) cellulose acetate containing from 57.0 to 57.5 wt.% bound acetic acid and not more than 7.0 wt.% low molecular weight fractions, and at the same time, the porous substrate and the porous polymer are impregnated with glycerin uniformly distributed in their pores in an amount of 50.0 to 80.0 wt. hours to 100.0 wt. including a mixture of polymers.
- конструкция мембраны будет включать несущую основу из лавсановой бумаги, которая имеет строго заданные в найденных пределах среднюю пористость и толщину;
- пористая подложка из лавсановой бумаги будет полностью пропитана пористым ацетатцеллюлозным полимером. Выбранный тип лавсановой бумаги, найденная смесь ацетатцеллюлозных полимеров, их растворителей и структурирующей системы позволили решить техническую задачу по полной и равномерной пропитке несущей основы мембраны - пористой подложки;
We found that the technological and operational parameters of the porous cellulose acetate membrane on the dacron substrate can be significantly increased if:
- the membrane design will include a carrier base made of lavsan paper, which has average porosity and thickness strictly specified within the found limits;
- the porous lavsan paper substrate will be completely saturated with the porous cellulose acetate polymer. The selected type of mylar paper, the found mixture of cellulose acetate polymers, their solvents and a structuring system made it possible to solve the technical problem of completely and uniformly impregnating the carrier base of the membrane - a porous substrate;
- the porous substrate and the cellulose acetate polymer will be uniformly and simultaneously impregnated with glycerin, which preserves the obtained unique porous structure of the cellulose acetate membrane during storage and operation.

3.According to the invention, the claimed construction of a porous cellulose acetate membrane on a substrate - lavsan paper - is obtained in a completely "dry" way, which includes:
dissolving the mixture of cellulose acetate in an organic solvent to form a solution, molding the solution into a membrane on a substrate, and heat treating the formed membrane at elevated temperature. and the formation of the membrane and its heat treatment are carried out simultaneously under conditions of free evaporation of solvents and, at least, in three stages, at which the temperature increasing from stage to stage and the same absolute humidity are maintained in the range of not more than 5.0 g / m 3 .

in the third stage - from 30 ± 40 o C for 2.0-3.0 minutes
Ideally, increasing the temperature of molding and heat treatment should be carried out continuously. However, in a continuous process, this requirement is difficult to fulfill.
Structuring the solution of cellulose acetate is preferably carried out by slowly, for 20-30 minutes, with stirring and a temperature of 20 ± 5 o With adding to this solution in an amount of from 3.5 to 7.0 parts by weight by 1.0 wt. including a mixture of cellulose acetates of a structuring system consisting of methylene chloride, isopropyl alcohol, glycerin and demineralized water, taken in the above ratio; heating the resulting mixture of solution and system to a temperature of 33 ± 5 o C, holding at this temperature and stirring for 0.5-1.0 hours, and subsequent filtration and deaeration in the usual way. The result is a working solution that is fully prepared for molding into a membrane, which is applied to porous Mylar paper.
