The invention relates to the field of coatings, in particular anode films on titanium and its alloys and can be used as an insulating layer in the manufacture of metal oxide substrates for thick-film hybrid integrated circuits.
C 25 D 11/26, 20.04.66).A known method of anodizing articles made of titanium and its alloys, which consists in a continuous mode of supply of current with a density of 2 A / DM 2 (ed. St. USSR N 197540, class C 25 D 11/26, 04/20/66).
A known method of anodizing metals, such as aluminum, by pulsed current, which allows at high current densities to obtain even coatings of increased hardness on aluminum and its alloys (US patent N 3597339, CL 204-58, 03.08.71).
A known method of producing a coating on titanium and its alloys by the anodization method, including surface treatment by pulsed current under conditions of a spark discharge at a voltage of 80 - 200 V and a current density of 10 to 80 A / dm 2 (ed. St. USSR N 534525, class C 25 D 11/26, B. N 41, 1976). This method is selected as a prototype.
The disadvantage of the above method is the presence of porosity of the coating, as well as insufficient thickness of the resulting coatings.
The technical problem to be solved is to obtain an insulating coating with a minimum porosity, a sufficiently high specific surface and volume resistance, with sufficient thermal conductivity, heat resistance, and a high breakdown voltage, which can be used as an insulating layer in the manufacture of metal oxide substrates for thick-film hybrid integrated circuits.
2.The technical problem to be solved is achieved by the fact that in the method for producing a coating on titanium and its alloys, including anodizing the surface of titanium or its alloys under the conditions of plasma-spark discharge, electrochemical polishing of the treated surface is preliminarily performed, and the anodizing is carried out in a molten eutectic mixture of sodium and potassium nitrates at 230 - 310 o C, in a plasma-spark discharge, with a voltage of U = 100 - 130 V and a current density of I = 8 - 10 A / cm 2 .
The proposed technical solution meets the criterion of inventive step, because the proposed distinctive features make it possible to obtain a new property - obtaining an insulating coating with a minimum porosity, a sufficiently high specific surface and volume resistance, with sufficient heat conductivity, heat resistance, and a high breakdown voltage, which can be used in as substrates of thick-film microcircuits.

Consider the implementation of the method of obtaining a coating on a titanium alloy BT1-O using the above device. Previously, the sample of anodized material 5 is subjected to degreasing and electrochemical polishing in the composition of the solution, wt.%: H 2 SO 4 - 48 + HNO 3 - 40 + HF - 12, at a voltage of U = 45 V, current I = 10 A / dm 2 in for 5 minutes with stirring of the electrolyte. This process of electrochemical polishing (L. Jung. Anode oxide films. L.: Energy, 1967, p. 232). After that, a sample of anodized material 5 is fixed with a clamp 7 and lowered by means of a lifting device 13 into the melt of the eutectic mixture of sodium and potassium nitrates. Anodizing is carried out at a temperature of 230 - 310 o C, for example 250 o C, in the conditions of plasma-spark discharge. The formation voltage is from 100 to 130 V, for example, U f = 115 V and the current density is from 8 to 10 A / cm 2 , for example, I = 9 A / cm 2, are set by programmer 12, for example, PR-8 and controlled by
Ra2-Ra10.The choice of temperature is due to the fact that at a temperature of less than 230 o C, the eutectic mixture of the KNO 3 - NaNO 3 melt is solidified. At a temperature higher than 310 o C, the melt decomposes with the formation of nitrites KNO 2 - NaNO 2 . Thus, the temperature range in which the oxidation of titanium and its alloys takes place is t = 230 - 310 o C. The choice of anodic oxidation modes: voltage and current density is determined by the anodic potentiodynamic polarization curve recorded in the KNO 3 - NaNO 3 melt at 250 o C (Fig. . 2). Previously, the electrodes were subjected to electrochemical polishing in the composition of the solution,%: H 2 SO 4 - 48 + HNO 3 - 40 + HF - 12, at t = 20 - 45 o C, voltage U = 45 V, current I = 10 A / dm 2 for 5 minutes while stirring the electrolyte. An analysis of the polarization curve shows that the process of anodic oxidation of titanium and its alloys is of a staged nature. X-ray phase analysis showed that up to the formation potentials U f = 48 V, the phases TiO 2 - brookite, TiO 2 - rutile are successively formed; at formation potentials U f = 70 - 120 V, mixtures of TiO 2 - rutile, Ti 2 O 3 , Ti 3 O 5 oxides are formed. At the formation potential U f = 70 V, spark discharges occur on titanium electrodes, and at the formation potentials of 90 - 130 V, a bluish plasma type glow appears. It is with these formation potentials that oxide coatings are formed that have good electrophysical properties: breakdown voltage of the resulting films U pr = 670 - 690 V; dielectric loss tangent tanδ = 9 • 10 -2 ; specific porosity K beats = 25-30 with an average pore diameter D cf = 2.3 μm; the film thickness reaches d = 30 μm with good adhesion to the base and depends on the anodization time. The formed anodic oxide films on titanium and its VT1-O alloy with a formation potential U f = 115 V are dark gray. Surface roughness Ra 2 -Ra 10 .
Thus, using the proposed method, you can get an anode coating on titanium and its alloys, satisfying the desired characteristics. Anode coatings on titanium and its alloys with these characteristics can be used as the basis for thick-film hybrid integrated circuits, to which the above characteristics are presented.
