Abstract
Description
The proposed solution relates to volumetric fire extinguishing.
The objective of the invention is to develop a composition for volumetric fire extinguishing with high fire extinguishing efficiency.
При этом экспериментальное повышение огнетушащей эффективности происходит при сочетании идитола, нитрата калия и вазелинового или индустриального, или трансформаторного масла, но не со всеми существующими каучуками (например, с карбоксилатными или с кремнийорганическими), а именно с указанными в формуле изобретения /ДСТ, СКН, смеси СКБ и НК/.The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the composition contains potassium nitrate, iditol, divinyl styrene thermoplastic elastomer (DST) or nitrile butadiene rubber (SKN), or a mixture of butadiene (SKB) and natural (NK) rubbers and petroleum jelly (VM) or industrial ( IM), or transformer (TM) oil in the following ratio of components (wt.):
divinyl-styrene thermoplastic elastomer or nitrile butadiene rubber, or a mixture of butadiene and
petroleum jelly or industrial, or transformer oil 0.1 4
The introduction of DST or SKN, or a mixture of SKB and KN into the composition containing iditol, together with potassium nitrate and liquid paraffin or industrial, or transformer oil, leads to an extreme increase in fire extinguishing efficiency (see table). At the same time, an experimental increase in fire extinguishing efficiency occurs with the combination of iditol, potassium nitrate and liquid paraffin, or industrial, or transformer oil, but not with all existing rubbers (for example, with carboxylate or with organosilicon), namely, those specified in the claims / DST, SKN, mixtures of SKB and NK.
Perhaps this is due to the presence in DST, SKN, SKB and NK of a significant number of unsaturated bonds, the absence of fluorine and silicon atoms in the macromolecules, which positively affects the intensification (burning resistance) of the combustion of the compositions, which, in turn, provides a greater removal of the condensed phase in the protected volume and, accordingly, increases the fire extinguishing efficiency of the compositions.
The lower limit of the introduction of either DST, or SKN, or a mixture of SKB and
3:1. The upper limit of the introduction of either DST, or SKN, or a mixture of SKB and NK of 15% is determined by a decrease in the fire extinguishing efficiency of the compositions when this limit is exceeded in terms of the content of either DST, or SKN, or a mixture of SKB and NK in the compositions. The ratio of rubbers SKB and NK in their mixture, it is advisable to change in the range / 2-4 /: 1, however, the ratio is 3: 1.
The introduction of vaseline, or industrial, or transformer oil into a composition containing potassium nitrate, iditol and DST or SKN, or a mixture of SKB and NK, allowed to further improve the technological characteristics of the composition, namely, to reduce external friction during pressing and, as a result, reduce the pressing forces in the manufacture of products from the composition.
The lower limit of the introduction of either petroleum jelly, or industrial, or transformer oil of 0.1% is determined by the possibility of processing the composition with a minimal addition of oil, while the pressing forces are reduced from 70 MPa to 50 MPa, which is acceptable from the point of view of safe manufacturing conditions.
The upper limit of the introduction of petroleum jelly, or industrial, or transformer oil of 4% is determined by the reduction of pressing forces to 30 MPa while maintaining high fire extinguishing efficiency. With an increase in oil content> 4%, fire extinguishing efficiency decreases.
во-первых, очень высокими прочностными характеристиками (физико-механическими) (см. данные таблицы), что позволяет использовать состав в качестве огнетушащих средств на объектах, которые могут претерпевать большие ударные, вибрационные нагрузки или ускорения, и когда прочностные характеристики составов становятся определяющими в работе всей пожаротушащей системы в целом;
к. уменьшаются массогабаритные характеристики газогенерирующих устройств, в которых сжигаются специальные тушащие композиции (СТК).The proposed composition additionally has the following valuable qualities:
firstly, very high strength characteristics (physical and mechanical) (see table data), which makes it possible to use the composition as fire extinguishing agents at objects that can undergo large shock, vibration loads or accelerations, and when the strength characteristics of the compositions become decisive in the operation of the entire fire extinguishing system as a whole;
secondly, the composition stably burns at atmospheric pressure, which increases the efficiency of the entire volumetric fire extinguishing system, because the weight and size characteristics of gas-generating devices in which special extinguishing compositions (STC) are burned are reduced.
Varying the compositions of various types of rubbers allows, in addition, to have compositions with different levels of burning rates and therefore design gas generating devices with different sizes of checkers while ensuring the necessary requirements for the flow rate of extinguishing mixtures.

Evaluation of the fire extinguishing efficiency and burning rate of the proposed composition was carried out on samples in the form of a cord with a diameter of 5 mm, made by molding on a press of a cloth obtained on horizontal rollers.
An experimental check on the fire extinguishing effectiveness of the compositions was carried out according to the following procedure. In a closed volume of 0.040 m 3, a sample of the test composition was burnt. After distribution of the aerosol mixture over a volume of 60 s, a burning sample of polymethyl methacrylate (plexiglass) was introduced into it. Carrying out a series of experiments with various amounts (weigheds) of the studied composition, we determined its minimum weighed, during which the independent burning of organic glass in the volume lasted no more than 1 s. Dividing the obtained value of the minimum sample by volume, we found the minimum extinguishing concentration of the test composition.
