Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the protection of metals from corrosion and can be applied at chemical enterprises operating chemical equipment with glass enamel.
A known method of repairing damage to glass enamel by applying a composition comprising liquid glass, metal oxides, paint component [1]
A technique is known in the art for repairing damage to glass enamel using such compositions. This method of repairing glass enamel consists in applying the repair composition to damaged areas with a spatula in several stages with intermediate drying at temperatures of about 20 o C and sometimes at temperatures up to 100 o C [2]
However, with this repair method, without the use of furnace heat treatment, the long life of the repaired chemical equipment is not ensured.
The closest to the invention is a method of eliminating microdefects in enamel coatings by electrochemical treatment at a voltage of 150 to 200 V in a solution of metal compounds, which during the heat treatment form oxides that make up the enamel of the main coating. The thus treated product is then dried and subjected to heat treatment at 750 780 o
However, in a known manner, only microdefects on the glass enamel are eliminated, and on larger damages it is impossible to obtain the high-quality coating necessary for chemical devices in contact with aggressive media. In addition, this method is not feasible in the repair of large-sized devices (10 50 cubic meters), which are mainly used in chemical plants.
The task to which the invention is directed is to extend the overhaul life of chemical equipment by obtaining better coatings on the damaged area and to simplify repairs, especially of large parts.
This problem is solved by the fact that the composition of the composition in wt.

then subjected to microarc treatment with alternating current of industrial frequency in an alkaline electrolyte at an anode current density of 35 40 A / dm 2 . As the electrolyte, the following composition is used, in g / l:
potassium hydroxide 3.0
liquid glass 3.0
sodium aluminate 3.0
water up to 1 l
Examples of specific performance.
2.Enamel barrels with a diameter of 40 mm and a height of 20 mm were used as samples, on which two artificial defects were applied with a total area of 2.5 5.2 cm 2 .
2.On the damaged areas of the glass enamel coating with a spatula, the proposed composition was applied according to the options presented in table 1. After drying of the applied composition in air at a temperature of 20 ± 2 o C, microarc treatment of the samples in the electrolyte of the composition was carried out, in g / l:
potassium hydroxide 3.0
liquid glass 3.0
sodium aluminate 3.0
water up to 1 l
The enameled sample served as the first electrode, and the second electrolytic bath body. An alternating current of industrial frequency was applied to the first electrode. The results of microarc treatment of samples, depending on the processing mode and composition of the repair composition are presented in table 2.
At a current density of up to 35 A / dm 2 , using all variants of the proposed composition, it is not possible to form a coating during electrochemical treatment, since the microarc process does not occur on the defective site, only intensive dissolution of the primary repair coating occurs.
When the anode current density is higher than 40 A / dm 2, the microarc process occurs both on the entire surface of the defect and in the places where microcracks are present on the surface of the glass enamel, causing swelling and breaking the continuity of the coating of the glass enamel.
At anode current densities of 35 40 A / dm 2 , which corresponds to a voltage of 300 500 V at the anode (samples), a fused coating with good adhesion is formed by the microarc method.
3.The chemical resistance of the coating formed according to examples 7 10 compared with the known method of forming coatings in solutions of hydrochloric acid at a temperature of 100 o C are presented in table. 3.
The data table. 3 show that the chemical resistance of coatings formed by the proposed method exceeds the chemical resistance of the coating formed by a method known in the literature by 33 ° C. 40 times.
Using the proposed method for repairing defects in glass enamel coating can significantly increase the overhaul life of chemical equipment by increasing the chemical resistance of the coating.
