Claims (30)

1. Оптическая система, содержащая:
светопроводящую подложку, имеющую по меньшей мере две основные поверхности и края,
оптическую призму, имеющую по меньшей мере первую, вторую и третью поверхности для введения световых волн, имеющих заданное поле зрения, в подложку с обеспечением полного внутреннего отражения,
по меньшей мере одну частично отражающую поверхность, расположенную в подложке и ориентированную непараллельно по отношению к основным поверхностям подложки, для выведения световых волн из подложки,
причем по меньшей мере один из краев подложки наклонен под косым углом по отношению к основным поверхностям,
вторая поверхность призмы прилегает к наклоненному краю подложки, и
часть подложки, расположенная рядом с наклоненным краем выполнена по существу прозрачной,
отличающаяся тем, что выполнена таким образом, что световые волны входят в призму через первую поверхность призмы, проходят призму без отражения и входят в подложку через наклоненный край.
2. Оптическая система по п. 1, в которой поле зрения определяется самым низким и самым высоким углами световых волн, вводимых в подложку.
3. Оптическая система по п. 2, в которой угол между наклоненным краем подложки и нормалью к основным поверхностям подложки больше, чем самый высокий угол поля зрения.
4. Оптическая система по п. 2, в которой угол между третьей поверхностью призмы и нормалью к основным поверхностям подложки меньше, чем самый низкий угол поля зрения.
5. Оптическая система по п. 1, в которой первая поверхность призмы расположена по существу перпендикулярно центральной волне световых волн.
6. Оптическая система по п. 1, в которой введенные световые волны из поля зрения по существу охватывают все основные поверхности подложки без образования полос или зазоров.
7. Оптическая система по п. 1, дополнительно содержащая коллимирующий модуль.
8. Оптическая система по п. 7, в которой коллимирующий модуль выполнен из проводящего световые волны материала и имеет по меньшей мере одну входную поверхность для световых волн, по меньшей мере одну выходную поверхность для световых волн и множество внешних поверхностей.
9. Оптическая система по п. 8, в которой первая поверхность призмы прилегает к выходной поверхности коллимирующего модуля.
10. Оптическая система по п. 8, в которой коллимирующий модуль содержит:
по меньшей мере одну отражающую световые волны поверхность на одной из внешних поверхностей оптического устройства,
по меньшей мере одну фазовую пластину по меньшей мере на части внешней поверхности оптического устройства,
по меньшей мере один коллимирующий световые волны компонент, охватывающий по меньшей мере часть по меньшей мере одной из фазовых пластин, и
по меньшей мере один поляризационный светоделитель световых волн, расположенный под углом к по меньшей мере одной из входной или выходной поверхностей световых волн.
11. Оптическая система по п. 7, дополнительно содержащая источник освещения дисплея.
12. Оптическая система по п. 11, в которой световые волны, выходящие из источника дисплея, коллимируются коллимирующим модулем и вводятся в подложку через призму.
13. Оптическая система по п. 1, в которой показатель преломления призмы равен показателю преломления подложки.
14. Оптическая система по п. 1, в которой показатель преломления призмы отличается от показателя преломления подложки.
15. Оптическая система по п. 1, в которой показатель преломления призмы существенно отличается от показателя преломления коллимирующего модуля.
16. Оптическая система по п. 1, в которой световые волны выводятся из подложки по меньшей мере одной частично отражающей поверхностью в направлении глаза пользователя.
17. Оптическая система по п. 16, в которой наклоненный край подложки расположен на стороне глаза пользователя.
18. Оптическая система по п. 16, в которой наклоненный край подложки расположен на стороне, противоположной от глаза пользователя.
19. Оптическая система по п. 16, в которой коллимирующий модуль существенно выступает за пределы двух основных поверхностей подложки.
