Способ стабилизации распадающегося шлака, включающий введение в состав шлака оксида бора, отличающийся тем, что оксид бора вводится в процессе внепечной обработки стали при скачивании шлака перед вакуумированием и после разливки стали или при обработке стали в ковше на установке ковш-печь в виде природного материала колеманита фракции 3-90 мм в количестве 0,5-1,5% от массы шлака.
