Claims (26)
1. Способ получения устойчивого к инфекциям медицинского устройства для применения в организме человека или животного, включающий следующие стадии:
(a) получение медицинского устройства и
(b) введение в данное медицинское устройство эффективного количества противомикробного средства, содержащего оксазолидиноновое соединение.
2. Способ по п.1, где оксазолидиноновое соединение представляет собой линезолид или его фармацевтически приемлемую соль.
3. Способ по п.1, где стадия (b) включает погружение медицинского устройства в водный раствор, содержащий противомикробное средство.
4. Способ по п.1, где медицинское устройство содержит полимерный материал, который подвергают экструзии совместно с антибактериальным средством.
5. Способ по п.1, включающий дополнительную стадию (с) нагревания медицинского устройства, полученного на стадии (b), до температуры от примерно 100 до примерно 121°С.
6. Способ по п.1, где медицинское устройство представляет собой шовный материал, ортопедическое приспособление, стент, катетер, проволочный направитель, шунт, протез, кардиостимулятор, нейронный стимулятор или трансплантат сосуда.
7. Способ ингибирования адгезии бактерий к медицинскому устройству, включающий следующие стадии:
(a) получение противомикробного средства, содержащего линезолид или его фармацевтически приемлемую соль; и
(b) доставку к данному медицинскому устройству эффективного количества противомикробного средства.
8. Способ по п.7, где стадия (b) включает погружение медицинского устройства в водный раствор, содержащий противомикробное средство.
9. Способ по п.7, включающий дополнительную стадию (с) нагревания медицинского устройства, полученного на стадии (b), до температуры от примерно 100 до примерно 121°С.
10. Способ по п.7, где медицинское устройство представляет собой шовный материал, ортопедическое приспособление, стент, катетер, проволочный направитель, шунт, протез, кардиостимулятор, нейронный стимулятор или трансплантат сосуда.
11. Способ ингибирования адгезии бактерий к имплантированному медицинскому устройству, включающий следующие стадии:
(a) имплантация медицинского устройства в организм человека или животного и
(b) введение в данное имплантированное медицинское устройство эффективного количества антибактериального средства, содержащего оксазолидинон или его фармацевтически приемлемую соль.
12. Способ по п.11, где оксазолидинон представляет собой линезолид.
13. Способ по п.11, где медицинское устройство представляет собой шовный материал, ортопедическое приспособление, стент, катетер, проволочный направитель, шунт, протез, кардиостимулятор, нейронный стимулятор или трансплантат сосуда.
14. Способ ингибирования адгезии бактерий к имплантированному медицинскому устройству, включающий следующие стадии:
(a) введение фармацевтической композиции, содержащей оксазолидинон или его фармацевтически приемлемую соль, пациенту, нуждающемуся в имплантация медицинского устройства; и
(b) имплантация медицинского устройства пациенту.
15. Способ по п.14, где оксазолидинон представляет собой линезолид.
16. Способ по п.14, дополнительно включающий поддержание концентрации оксазолидинона в непосредственной близости с имплантированным медицинским устройством на уровне около половины МИК или выше.
17. Способ по п.14, дополнительно включающий поддержание концентрации оксазолидинона в непосредственной близости с имплантированным медицинским устройством на уровне около одной четверти МИК или выше.
18. Способ по п.14, где оксазолидинон ингибирует адгезию бактерий при субМИК концентрациях.
19. Способ по п.14, где оксазолидинон имеет концентрацию, примерно равную МИК, или меньше и ингибирует адгезию бактерий в течение, по меньшей мере, 2 ч.
20. Способ по п.19, где оксазолидинон ингибирует адгезию бактерий в течение, по меньшей мере, 4 ч.
21. Способ по п.14, где фармацевтическую композицию вводят перорально.
22. Способ по п.14, где фармацевтическую композицию вводят внутривенно.
23. Способ по п.15, где медицинское устройство представляет собой шовный материал, ортопедическое приспособление, стент, катетер, проволочный направитель, шунт, протез, кардиостимулятор, нейронный стимулятор или трансплантат сосуда.
24. Медицинское устройство, устойчивое к адгезии микробов, для применения в организме человека или животного, включающее эффективное количество линезолида или его фармацевтически приемлемой соли.
25. Медицинское устройство по п.24, где эффективное количество обеспечивает концентрацию линезолида или его фармацевтически приемлемой соли в организме человека или животного в непосредственной близости от медицинского устройства, которая меньше минимальной ингибирующей концентрации линезолида или его фармацевтически приемлемой соли.
26. Медицинское устройство по п.24, которое представляет собой шовный материал, ортопедическое приспособление, стент, катетер, проволочный направитель, шунт, протез, кардиостимулятор, нейронный стимулятор или трансплантат сосуда.
