Description
The utility model refers to the means of masking objects and can be used as a protective overlapping mask that hides an object located against the background of a snow cover from radar and optical detection surveillance systems.
Известно устройство для радиолокационной и оптической маскировки объектов, размещенных на фоне снежного покрова, выполненное в виде защитного покрытия, на одной из сторон которого закреплено тонкое белое полотно, отражающая способность которого максимально приближена к свойствам снежного покрова (RU 96699 U1 H01Q 17/00, 2010 г.).There is a known device for radar and optical camouflage of objects placed against the background of a snow cover, made in the form of a protective coating, on one side of which a thin white sheet is fixed, the reflectivity of which is as close as possible to the properties of the snow cover (RU 96699 U1 H01Q 17/00, 2010 g.).
The device has a high degree of protection against detection against a background of snow, however, the use of an additional layer of white canvas complicates the design, making it inconvenient to use.
A device for radar masking of objects is known, made in the form of a mesh base, in each of the cells of which a tape is woven into it, forming an air loop. The tape is made of a film with a surface impedance layer, i.e. possesses electromagnetic properties (RU 2313869 H01Q 17/00, 2006) For masking objects placed against the background of a snow cover, the film is painted white, which gives it masking properties in the optical radiation range.
Наиболее близким к полезной модели является устройство для радиолокационной маскировки объектов, содержащее гибкую сетчатую основу, на которой закреплены двухслойные ленты из пленки, первый слой которых выполнен из материала цвета подстилающей поверхности, а второй - из окрашенного в белый цвет материала, отражающая способность которого максимально приближена к свойствам снежного покрова в его оптическом и ультрафиолетовом спектрах излучения (RU 96419 U1 F41 3/00,2010 г).The closest to the useful model is a device for radar masking of objects, containing a flexible mesh base, on which two-layer film tapes are fixed, the first layer of which is made of a material of the color of the underlying surface, and the second - of a material painted in white, the reflectivity of which is as close as possible to the properties of the snow cover in its optical and ultraviolet spectra of radiation (RU 96419 U1 F41 3 / 00,2010 g).
The disadvantage of the two known devices is the low protection efficiency and, consequently, the high degree of object detection against the background of the snow cover by radar and optical observation systems in the ultraviolet spectrum. This is due to the fact that the film used in these coatings with white paint applied to it is characterized by low resistance to prolonged exposure to ultraviolet radiation and negative temperatures, which results in its discoloration and embrittlement and, as a consequence, a decrease in radio engineering, physical-mechanical and optical characteristics.
The technical result that can be achieved using the utility model is to increase the efficiency of protection against detection against the background of a snow cover by radar and optical surveillance systems during its long-term use in the low-temperature region by ensuring the stability of the radio engineering, physical-mechanical and optical characteristics of the coating.
The technical result is achieved due to the fact that in the device for absorbing electromagnetic waves, containing a flexible mesh base, in which flexible radio-absorbing cylindrical elements with radially diverging from their axis electrically conductive microdipoles made of complex glass threads connected to nanostructured ferromagnetic microwires in glass insulation, microdipoles and the mesh base are painted with white paint.
The drawing shows the design of the cloaking device.
The device is made in the form of a flexible mesh base 1, in which are reinforced (for example, by weaving) flexible radar-absorbing
The attachment of microwires to glass filaments can be carried out by winding them or duplicating them, for example, by gluing.
To camouflage the protected object against the background of a snow cover in the optical and ultraviolet spectra of radiation, microdipoles and mesh base 1 are painted with white paint.
To ensure the stability of the radiotechnical, optical and mechanical characteristics of the absorbing material when exposed to low temperatures and ultraviolet radiation, the white paint used must have high adhesion properties, ensuring sufficient reliability of the coating of microdipoles and base 1 with it. For example, fluoroplastic paint can be used as such paint. white enamel.
The mesh base 1 can be made of any synthetic or natural threads. The choice of the base material is determined by the operating conditions of the protective coating and must meet, in particular, the requirements for strength, flexibility, moisture resistance and stability at low temperatures.
The specified operating frequency range and the degree of the required attenuation of the energy of the reflected electromagnetic wave depend on the amount of absorbing material of the coating, determined by the interlacing pitch, the size of the mesh base, the distance between the microdipoles and their length.
The device works as follows.
A white camouflage cover is put on a protected object placed on a snow cover. Electromagnetic waves (EMW), incident from free space, fall on the external absorbing structure of the coating, diffusely scattered in its volume. Along with the processes of absorption of EMW caused by magnetic losses in microdipoles, there are processes of their multiple reflection and re-reflection from microdipoles, accompanied by energy absorption. For an arbitrary direction of incident waves, their back reflection is minimized. This is due to the fact that the waves are gradually absorbed in a voluminous fluffy structure formed by microdipoles randomly located in it. Dipoles possessing magnetic properties absorb EME of radar detection systems, practically not reflecting them.
The reflectivity of the coating is as close as possible to the snow cover, both in the optical and in the ultraviolet radiation spectrum (with an incident electromagnetic wavelength from 250 to 1200 nm), therefore, the degree of radar and optical detection of the protected object is reduced to a minimum.
It was experimentally established that the application of white paint on the glass surface of microdipoles, and not of a polymer film (as in the prototype), sharply increased the physicomechanical properties of the coating when used in the region of low temperatures and prolonged exposure to ultraviolet radiation.
The new design of the device, which uses flexible radio-absorbing cylindrical elements painted with white paint, with electrically conductive microdipoles radially diverging from their axis, made of complex glass threads connected to nanostructured ferromagnetic microwires in glass insulation, made it possible to ensure high stability of radio engineering, physical-mechanical and optical characteristics of the coating with prolonged exposure to ultraviolet radiation and low temperatures and, consequently, an increase in the efficiency of protecting the object from detection.
Due to the high stability of the camouflage properties of the coating during its long-term operation at low temperatures, the utility model can be the most preferable when choosing means of protecting moving and stationary objects from radar and optical detection systems, which is especially important when they are placed in areas of the Arctic regime.
