Description
Полезная модель относится к текстильной промышленности, в частности к нетканому волокнистому иглопробивному материалу, который может использоваться в качестве средств индивидуальной защиты для работ, связанных с повышенными термическими рисками электрической дуги, а также тепла и пламени, в частности для боевой одежды пожарного (БОП).The utility model relates to the textile industry, in particular to non-woven fibrous needle-punched material, which can be used as personal protective equipment for work associated with increased thermal risks of an electric arc, as well as heat and flame, in particular for a firefighter's combat clothing (FBO).
A nonwoven fire-resistant needle-punched material is known from the prior art, wherein 100% by weight pre-oxidized polyacrylonitrile (PAN) fibers are used as the material, which gives the material high fire resistance, low weight and a technically advantageous ratio of thickness to density (see US 6,696374, 24.02. 2004 - selected for the prototype).
The disadvantage of the material known from the prototype is the lack of data on its physical properties, in particular the value of the total thermal resistance. The degree of influence of specific ratios of thickness and density of the material on air permeability and total thermal resistance is not indicated. The absence of these data does not allow us to judge the technical efficiency of using this material in specific conditions, in comparison with similar materials. The prototype only indicates that the thickness of the material can be selected to provide the required heat resistance. However, such a material parameter as thickness is not possible to adjust to ensure the necessary heat resistance, since with an increase in the thickness of the material, its other parameters also change - for example, such as air permeability, rigidity, which affects the convenience of work, up to the impossibility of using such a thick material for clothes.
The task of this utility model is to eliminate the above disadvantages, namely, to search for such material characteristics, in the implementation of which the material will have a high total thermal resistance with constant thickness, structure, composition, while maintaining high fire resistance.
ISO 14116).The technical result of the proposed utility model is to increase the total thermal resistance of the non-woven fire-resistant needle-punched material, while maintaining its fire resistance (i.e., while maintaining the index of limited flame spread - 3 according to GOST ISO 14116).
The inventive non-woven fire-resistant needle-punched material for clothing contains, by weight, 100% of pre-oxidized polyacrylonitrile fibers.
According to the utility model, the material is made with a linear density of 0.17-0.19 tex, an areal density of 60 to 300 g / m 2 and a thickness of 2 mm to 8 mm, while the needling of the material is made from one side from above with a piercing depth along the entire thickness of the material, and the density of needling is 200-250 bonding points per cm 2 with a regular distribution of bonding points in the material relative to each other.
FIG. 1 shows a schematic arrangement of the regular distribution of the bonding points in the material relative to each other, with an equal pitch of the bonding points in two mutually perpendicular directions.
The claimed non-woven heat-insulating fire-resistant material for clothing includes a mixture of 100% by weight of pre-oxidized polyacrylonitrile (hereinafter referred to as PAN) fibers, combined into a fabric by needling. As a non-limiting example, in the claimed material, the fibers are 51 mm long staple fibers. As another non-limiting example, fibers with a length of 5-70 mm can be used. The bonding of the fibers in the canvas (canvas) is due to the needling of the material.
GOST ISO 14116-2016 “Occupational safety standards system. Clothing and materials for protection from heat and flame. Limited flame spread. Requirements for fire resistance ”establishes the requirements and methods for assessing the properties of materials, packages of materials, special protective clothing (overalls) in terms of limiting the spread of flame. Overalls manufactured in accordance with this standard are intended to protect workers from accidental short-term contact with a small flame in the absence of a significant risk from heat of another nature. The classification system is given for materials, packages of materials and workwear tested in accordance with ISO 15025, method A. This standard sets out the technical requirements for workwear and materials for its manufacture during design, start-up and confirmation of conformity. A hole in this standard is understood to mean destruction of at least 5 × 5 mm, caused by melting, heating or burning of the test piece. The index of limited flame spread in the specified standard means the number indicating that the material has the properties of limiting the spread of flame in accordance with the established level. Requirements corresponding to the index of limited flame spread 1: when the flame spreads on any of the samples, the flame boundary or openings must not reach the upper or any of the vertical edges; none of the samples should give off burning residues; residual smoldering should not exceed 2 s (≤2 s); smoldering should not spread from the charred surface to an intact area after exposure to flame on the sample surface in accordance with ISO 15025. Requirements corresponding to a flame retardant index 2: when the flame propagates on any of the samples, the flame edge should not reach the top or any of the vertical edges; none of the samples should give off burning residues; residual smoldering should not exceed 2 s (≤2 s); smoldering shall not spread from a charred surface to an intact area after exposure to the surface of the sample in accordance with ISO 15025; none of the specimens shall have openings (through) larger than 5 mm in any direction of the material used for flame protection. Requirements corresponding to the index of limited spread of flame 3: when the flame spreads on any of the samples, the flame boundary must not reach the upper or any of the vertical edges; none of the samples should give off burning residues; residual smoldering should not exceed 2 s (≤2 s); smoldering shall not spread from the charred part to an intact area after exposure to the surface of the sample in accordance with ISO 15025; none of the specimens shall have openings larger than 5 mm in any direction of the material used for flame protection; the residual combustion time of each of the samples should not exceed 2 s (≤2 s). That is, the requirements corresponding to the limited flame spread index of 3 are the most stringent.
Для скрепления 100% по массе предварительно окисленных ПАН-волокон применяется метод иглопрокалывания (иглопробива).It was revealed that 100% by weight of pre-oxidized PAN fibers have high fire resistance, maximum protection against thermal risks of an electric arc, as well as against fire and flame, which corresponds to the index of limited flame spread 3 according to GOST ISO 14116-2016. When the composition of the material changes (when other fibers are added to the mixture of PAN fibers), the fire-resistant properties of such a material may not be preserved. To bond 100% by weight of pre-oxidized PAN fibers, the needle punching method is used.
The material made of pre-oxidized PAN fibers (oxypane) is a heat-resistant needle-punched fabric produced in rolls. The material has a high moisture absorption - up to 700%, is able to absorb and retain moisture in the pores in direct contact with various liquids (water, oil products, oils), when the collected moisture is annealed, it restores the original moisture absorption properties. In addition, the material has the following features: does not dissolve in water; has biochemical stability; resistant to acids, alkalis and organic solvents; thermostable at temperatures up to 300 ° С; can be operated in air at a temperature not exceeding 450 ° С.
To search for the optimal mode (density) of needle-piercing, showing high values of the total thermal resistance of the material, a material with 100% by weight pre-oxidized PAN fibers with a linear density of 0.17-0.19 tex, an areal density of 60 to 300 g / m 2 and thickness from 2 to 8 mm. These parameters ensure the material is suitable for clothing, i.e. optimal relatively light weight, optimal rigidity, strength, air permeability. The fineness of the fiber no more than 0.19 tex was chosen on the basis that the smaller the fineness of the fiber, the more there are per unit volume of production, which means that the number of air cells will be greater, and, therefore, the thermal protection of such a material will be higher. A fiber fineness of less than 0.17 tex will not provide the formation of air cells sufficient in volume, therefore, on the other hand, the thermal protection of such a material will be worse.
The inventive fire-resistant nonwoven needle-punched material is made in the following way: from the carding machine, the multilayer canvas is fed into the needle-punched machine, where it is punched by the needles from above to the depth of piercing throughout the thickness of the material with a certain frequency of piercing. Next, the finished material is fed to the cutting and winding section, where it is cut to the required width and length and wound into a roll.
In numerous experiments with samples of material with 100% by weight of the pre-oxidized PAN fibers having a linear density of 0.17 to 0.19 tex, a surface density of 60 to 300 g / m 2 and a thickness of 2 mm to 8 mm (the boundary values are included in the indicated intervals), we unexpectedly found that at a certain density of needling and with a certain application of it to the material, the highest value of the indicator of the total thermal resistance of the material is achieved. Such a "golden mean" turned out to be the density of needling 200-250 bonding points per cm 2 (the boundary values are included in the specified interval) with a regular distribution of bonding points in the material relative to each other, while the needling of the material is performed, on one side, from above, with a piercing depth along the entire thickness of the material.
The experiments were carried out on a needle punching machine with needles "60 * 75 * 222-8000 pcs", while the feed rate of the material was unchanged, but the number of blows applied by the needles per minute varied. During the experiments, the optimal mode of needle-punching of the claimed material was revealed, equal to approximately 250 beats per minute, which at a given speed in terms of material with a certain arrangement of needles without repeated strikes on the same holes amounted to 200-250 bonding points per cm 2 with regular (i.e. uniform) distribution of the bonding points in the material relative to each other (see an example of such a scheme in Fig. 1, corresponding to such a distribution, while preferably with one step in two perpendicular directions, in Fig. 1). This distribution was chosen for uniform needling to ensure an even distribution of the thermal properties of the material over its surface area. This distribution means that the bonding points meet at approximately equal intervals, i.e. are at approximately the same distance from each other. In this case, as a non-limiting example, the distance between punctures in the case of such a distribution can be 0.3-1 mm. Preferably, the regular distribution can be performed with one equal pitch of the bonding points in each of the two mutually perpendicular directions.
The most significant experimental results are presented in Table 1. It can be seen from the table that the maximum thermal resistance equal to 0.36 m 2 ° C / W is achieved when the density of one-sided (top) needle puncturing is provided with 225 impacts (bonding points) per cm 2 with linear density fibers (fiber fineness) 0.17 tex, with a surface density of 200 g / m 2 and a thickness of 6 mm, while the distance between punctures in two mutually perpendicular directions was 0.67 mm.
In the case of the release of a material with an increased density of needling more than 250 bonding points per cm 2, the total thermal resistance (heat protection) will be lower, which will negatively affect the quality and ergonomics of the material.
In the case of release of material with a reduced density of needle-punching less than 200 bonding points per cm 2 , the strength of the material will decrease, the distance between the bonding points will be greater, the bonding points will be less, therefore, as a result of the use of the material, loose fibers will migrate and not retain heat, which is the same negatively affect the quality of the material.
When carrying out double-sided needle puncturing (which can also be seen from the results of Table 1), the thickness of the material is significantly lost, uneven distribution of points appears due to uncontrolled possible duplication of puncture punches at one point, and, therefore, the necessary thermal protection of the product is not provided.
It should be borne in mind that the data in Table 1 are used only as an example to confirm the technical result, and that all the values of the material parameters from the indicated ranges stated in the formula of the utility model were investigated and confirmed with the achievement of the technical result specified in the description.
ISO 14116).Thus, the proposed non-woven fire-resistant needle-punched material provides an increase in its total thermal resistance, while maintaining its fire resistance (i.e., while maintaining the index of limited flame spread - 3 according to GOST ISO 14116).
The heat-shielding (heat-insulating) properties of the material were determined on an MT-380 device using the method for determining the total thermal resistance in accordance with GOST 20489-75, which consists in measuring the cooling time of the device plate in a given interval of temperature differences between the plate surface, the insulated material and the surrounding air. The specified size for the test pieces is 360 × 500 mm. One sample is tested on two samples, which are kept in atmospheric conditions at a temperature of 20 (± 2) ° С and a relative humidity of 60 (± 2)%. The tests begin with determining the thickness of the nonwoven material with a thickness gauge at a pressure of 0.2 kPa at 10 points, then the arithmetic mean of the measurement results is calculated. The sample is tucked upside down against the air flow with a tension sufficient to fix the sample. Enter the actual values for the basis weight and thickness of the test piece. The device automatically generates an indicator. The value of the indicator of the total thermal resistance R sum is measured in m 2 ° C / W.
