Description
FIELD OF TECHNOLOGY
The invention relates to the designs of devices for arc metallization, in particular, to the nozzle assembly of an electric arc metallizer.
It is known that electric arc metallizers are used for applying protective coatings to machine parts and mechanisms. Coatings are applied by spraying with gas, for example, air, two wires converging at a certain angle to each other and melting with an electric arc. The molten metal in the form of small particles is directed by a gas stream onto the surface to be coated, where a coating is formed from these particles. The melting of the wires and the formation of a gas jet with sprayed particles occurs in the nozzle assembly of the metallizer. The high speed of the gas stream and molten metal particles is achieved by high pressure and gas flow entering the nozzle of the metallizer. The process of forming a gas stream and molten metal particles consists of tearing and spraying (dispersing) molten metal particles with a gas stream from the ends of the melting wires and subsequent acceleration of the metal particles in the direction of the sprayed surface.
The prior art device for arc metallization (RU 2186632, 08/10/2002) D1, which contains a nozzle assembly of the metallizer with two conical nozzles and a central additional nozzle of small diameter. These nozzles form three gas streams. The gas flow from the central additional nozzle of small diameter directly affects the area of the electric arc of the spray wire. The cone angle of the inner nozzle, as well as the outer, is equal to the angle of convergence of the wires. The inner and outer conical nozzles have a common gas cavity, from where gas enters these nozzles. Thus, the flow rates and gas velocities through these nozzles are interdependent. The cross section of the inner nozzle is much larger than the slotted cross section of the outer nozzle by more than 20 times. This ratio determines the main gas flow rate through the inner conical nozzle and the weak gas flow through the external nozzle, which is insignificant for crimping.
The disadvantages of the solution presented in D1 are the low pressure of the crimp flow, which in turn leads to a decrease in the quality characteristics of the coating.
The source of information D1 is selected by the applicant as the closest analogue to the claimed utility model.

The objective of this utility model is to eliminate the above disadvantages of the prior art.
The technical result of the claimed utility model is to improve the quality characteristics of the coating, by obtaining a compressed high-speed stream of sprayed particles of material.
The indicated technical result of the claimed utility model is achieved due to the fact that the nozzle assembly of the electric arc metallizer, including a housing, inside which a nozzle holder, a nozzle, a cylindrical channel, which is placed on the axis of the nozzle, a nozzle nozzle, current-carrying tips containing wire feed channels, gas supply fittings are fixed while the outer wall of the nozzle nozzle and the inner wall of the nozzle form a slotted channel, while the nozzle nozzle is made in the form of a truncated cone, the slotted channel has the shape of a truncated cone with a cone angle β of 48-55 degrees, and the convergence angle α of the conductive tips is 26-32 degrees.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
На фигуре 1 представлен общий вид соплового узла высокоскоростного электродугового металлизатора (вид в продольном разрезе).The figure 1 presents a General view of the nozzle assembly of a high-speed electric arc metallizer (view in longitudinal section).
IMPLEMENTATION OF A USEFUL MODEL
In FIG. 1 shows a nozzle assembly of an electric arc metallizer, including a housing, inside of which a nozzle holder 1, a nozzle 2, a cylindrical channel 3, which is placed on the axis of the nozzle 2, a
An insulator 9 is located between the cylindrical channel 3 and the current-carrying tips 5. The inner diameter R of the nozzle 2 is 11-20 mm. The cylindrical channel 3 has a diameter of 5-8 mm. The internal cavity of the
8. Thus, two gas flows are formed: spraying from the
The gas stream passing through the hole 10 and the gas stream from the slotted channel 8 do not have a mutual influence on the flow rate and pressure, since they do not have a common gas cavity in the nozzle. The pressure of the incoming gas for spraying and crimping is 6-12 bar, which provides a high-speed flow of gas flows, which is not achievable for the designs of the nozzle assembly D1, where the main gas stream leaves the central hole.
This arrangement of the nozzle assembly provides an increase in the quality characteristics of the coating, in particular, an increase in the adhesion and cohesion of the coating, a decrease in porosity and roughness of not less than 2 times due to the production of a compressed high-speed stream of sprayed material particles.
Metallizers with such a nozzle assembly are used for spraying wires with a diameter of 1.2 - 3.17 mm from non-ferrous and steel wires. Spraying is performed with gases: air, nitrogen, argon, helium, carbon dioxide and their mixtures.
