O PRESENTE PEDIDO DESCREVE UM REATOR ELETROQUÍMICO AVANÇADO PARA A REMOÇÃO DE MICROPOLUENTES E MICRORGANISMOS DE MATRIZES AQUOSAS COM ELEVADA EFICIÊNCIA. O REATOR ATUALMENTE DESCRITO COMPREENDE, PELO MENOS, QUATRO ELÉTRODOS COLOCADOS EM UMA CONFIGURAÇÃO PARALELA EM TODA A CÂMARA DO REATOR COM A SUA POLARIZAÇÃO INTERCALADA ENTRE O ÂNODO E O CÁTODO. OS ELÉTRODOS DO PRESENTE REATOR SÃO FEITOS DE UM MATERIAL DE FITA FLEXÍVEL COM FORMA DE MALHA CIRCULAR DE ÓXIDO DE METAL MISTO, E CONFIGURADOS EM FORMAS SELECIONADAS A PARTIR DE UMA FORMA CIRCULAR, FORMA DE MOLA HELICOIDAL OU FORMA DE DUPLA HÉLICE. ESTE REATOR PROPORCIONA UMA ÁGUA RESIDUAL MAIS SEGURA COMO PRODUTO FINAL A SER REUTILIZADO, POR EXEMPLO, NA IRRIGAÇÃO OU PARA UMA DESCARGA NAS MASSAS DE ÁGUA, EVITANDO A PROPAGAÇÃO DA CONTAMINAÇÃO E EFEITOS NOCIVOS PARA O ECOSSISTEMA E CADEIA ALIMENTAR.
