Abstract

The subject of the invention is a device that enables the use of the swirling motion of exhaust gases achieved by positioning the inlet nozzle tangential to the chamber, inclined at the optimal angle resulting from its design and the performance parameters of the accelerator (geometry of the electron beam exit zone) with the use of a central location of the humidifying nozzles along the axis of the reaction chamber which ensures the effectiveness of this operation and practically does not interfere with the process of radiation treatment and the dynamics of waste gas movement. At the same time, a design solution was applied to eliminate the corrosion effect of the exit window caused by its contact with exhaust gases. The additionally introduced air stream acts as a separator that protects the accelerator window against corrosion. As a result of the use of a jet receiving nozzle after completing the task, this air can be reused in a closed system to protect the exit window of the next accelerator. The use of the described structure also avoids unnecessary expansion of the volume of exhaust gases in the reaction chamber. The invention also relates to a method of purifying waste gases.
