Abstract
Se divulga un aparato de valvula retroajustable para una celda de flotacion (20) que comprende: un montaje de valvula (30) que tiene un dardo (60) unido a un extremo distal de una varilla de valvula accionada linealmente (39); estando el montaje de valvula (30) proporcionado en un lado corriente arriba de la celda de flotacion (20), donde el montaje de valvula (30) comprende una caja (48) que se comunica de manera fluida con una celda de flotacion corriente arriba (10). Ademas, se describe un metodo de flotacion que comprende: proporcionar un montaje de valvula (30) que tiene un dardo (60) unido a un extremo distal de una varilla de valvula accionada linealmente (39); estando el montaje de valvula (30) proporcionado en un lado corriente arriba de la celda de flotacion (20), donde el montaje de valvula (30) comprende una caja (48) que se comunica en forma fluida con una celda de flotacion corriente arriba (10); y regular de manera lineal la varilla de valvula accionada linealmente para aumentar o disminuir una velocidad de flujo de la suspension o pulpa entre dicha celda de flotacion (20) y dicha celda de flotacion corriente arriba (10).A retrofit valve apparatus for a flotation cell (20) is disclosed comprising: a valve assembly (30) having a dart (60) attached to a distal end of a linearly actuated valve rod (39); the valve assembly (30) being provided on an upstream side of the flotation cell (20), wherein the valve assembly (30) comprises a housing (48) which fluidly communicates with an upstream flotation cell (10). Furthermore, a floating method is disclosed comprising: providing a valve assembly (30) having a dart (60) attached to a distal end of a linearly actuated valve rod (39); the valve assembly (30) being provided on an upstream side of the flotation cell (20), wherein the valve assembly (30) comprises a housing (48) which fluidly communicates with an upstream flotation cell (10); and linearly regulating the linearly actuated valve rod to increase or decrease a flow rate of the slurry or pulp between said flotation cell (20) and said upstream flotation cell (10).
