Abstract

I den hensikt å begrense overlaststrømmer i elekt- riske linjer, som blir forårsaket f.eks. av kort- slutning, gir den foreliggende oppfinnelse anvisning på en strømbegrenser som kan innsettes i den elek- triske linje for begrensning av overlaststrømmen til et gitt multiplum av den nominelle strøm. Den enkle, kompakte konstruerte strømbegrenser har på hver side av en skive-formet isolator (1) påført en sammensatt leder som er tildannet av en høy-temperatur-super- leder (3, 3') og en normal leder (4, 4") forbundet flatt mot hverandre for å oppnå god elektrisk kon- takt. Mellom de sammensatte ledere og isolatoren (1) befinner det seg et kjemisk isolerende bufferlag (2) tildannet av 2-um tykt sølv. Enten superledersiden eller siden for normallederen av den sammensatte leder danner flat kontakt med isolatoren (1). Den elektriske resistans for forbikoblingen (4, 4') bør ikke være større enn den for superlederen (3, 3') som er forbundet derved. Hver sammensatt leder er meanderleder-formet i sin konstruksjon og elektrisk forbundet slik at strømmen i tilstøtende strimler av den sammensatte leder strømmer i motsatte retninger.
