Abstract

Fjemnettmåleavlesningssystem innbefattende et nettsystem (10,11,13,14), en sentralstasjon (LC) og flere målere (U1-U11) som kommuniserer med senteralstasjonen ved hjelp av meldinger ført over nettsystemet Alle målerne virker også som meldingsvidereførings(relé)enheter, men kunnskap om topologien til systemet (dvs. hvilke målere som kan kommunisere med hvilke) er kjent kun av sentralstasjonen. Alle meldinger blir sendt ut av og returnert til sentralstasjonen, idet meldingsformatet innbefatter en liste over målere gjennom hvilke meldingene skal passere. Sentralstasjonen kan sende ut forskjellige spørre (SEARCH) meldinger for å bestemme systemtopologien, tildeling av merkelapper til målere, etc. Dersom nettsystemet innbefatter linkbokser som kobler forskjellige områder sammen, vil disse boksene fortrinnsvis filtrere ut meldingene og innbefatte linkenheter som styrer sammenkoblingen av forskjellige områder.
