Abstract

Oppfinnelsen angår en fremgangsmåte og et apparat for sanntids måling av meka- nisk raffinørmasses kvalitetsindeks, såsom malegrad. Ifølge fremgangsmåten blir mekanisk raffinørmasse som transporteres i en base- eller dampfasebærer, illuminert med elektromagnetisk stråling, og den endring i strålingsspektrum som forårsakes av den mekaniske raffinarmasse, detek- teres. Endringen i strålingsspektrum for- årsaket av den mekaniske raffinørmasse, måles i et antall bølgelengdebånd på i det minste fire, og de målte intensiteter prosesseres beregningsmessig eller i data- maskin for å oppnå den ønskede kvalitets- indeks.
