Description

Foreliggende oppfinnelse omhandler bremsevæsker for motorkjøretøyer, som har forbedret korrosjonsbeskyttelse. The present invention relates to brake fluids for motor vehicles, which have improved corrosion protection.

Bremsevæsker for motorkjøretøyer utsettes for svært høye krav med hensyn til deres kjemiske og fysiske egenskaper. WO 00/46325 (3) anbefaler hydrauliske væsker som omfatter en kombinasjon av 1 H-1,2,3-benzotriazol eller derivater derav, slik som 1 H-1,2,3-tolutriazol, og 1 H-1,2,4-triazol eller derivater derav i et vektforhold på fra 1:4 til 4:1 som korrosjonsinhibitorsystem. WO 00/46325 (3) recommends hydraulic fluids comprising a combination of 1 H-1,2,3-benzotriazole or derivatives thereof, such as 1 H-1,2,3-tolutriazole, and 1 H-1,2, 4-triazole or derivatives thereof in a weight ratio of from 1:4 to 4:1 as a corrosion inhibitor system. For comparative purposes, Tables 1 to 4 in (3) also indicate hydraulic fluids comprising 1H-1,2,4-triazole alone in concentrations of 0.15% by weight; however, its corrosion inhibiting action is acceptable only in the case of copper.

Bremsevæsker for motorkjøretøyer som er kjent fra tidligere teknikk er, imidlertid, fremdeles utilfredsstillende med hensyn til deres egenskaper og spesielt deres korrosjonsbeskyttelse. Det var derfor et formål med foreliggende oppfinnelse å tilveiebringe bremsevæsker som, spesielt, tilfredsstiller oven-nevnte krav til forbedret korrosjonsbeskyttelse i tilfellet metaller og jernfrie metaller. Den foreliggende oppfinnelsen tilveiebringer følgelig en bremsevæske for motorkjøretøyer som har forbedret korrosjonsbeskyttelse, som omfatter (a) fra 0,005 til 0,125 vekt-% 1 H-1,2,4-triazol, og (b) fra 0 til 10 vekt-% av én eller flere ytterligere korrosjonsinhibitorer, hvor, ved samtidig anvendelse av 1 H-1,2,3-benzotriazol og/eller 1 H-1,2,3-tolutriazol og/eller derivater derav, vektforholdet mellom 1 H-1,2,4-triazol og nevnte 1H-1,2,3-triazoler må være større enn 4:1, og videre fra 0,1 til 97 vekt-% av én eller flere polyglykoletere og/eller borsyreestere derav. Nevnte korrosjonsinhibitorer (b) er foretrukket til stede i motorkjøretøy-bremsevæskene ifølge oppfinnelsen i mengder fra 0,001 til 10 vekt-%, spesielt fra 0,001 til 5 vekt-%. Said corrosion inhibitors (b) are preferably present in the motor vehicle brake fluids according to the invention in amounts from 0.001 to 10% by weight, especially from 0.001 to 5% by weight.

I en spesielt foretrukket utførelse, omfatter motorkjøretøybremsevæskene ifølge oppfinnelsen, ut over 1 H-1,2,4-triazol (a), som ytterligere korrosjonsinhibitorer (b) fra 0,001 til 0,5 vekt-%, av én eller flere forbindelser fra gruppen som består av benzimidazol, hydrogenert 1 H-1,2,3-tolutriazol, purin, adenin, 6-klorpurin, 2,6-diklorpurin, 6-metoksypurin, 1 H-1,2,3-triazolo(4,5-d)pyridin, 6-histaminopurin og 6-furfurylaminopurin og, eventuelt, ytterligere korrosjonsinhibitorer andre enn (a). Passende borsyreestere av nevnte eller andre polyglykoletere er beskrevet, spesielt, i patentskriftene EP-B 013 925 (cykliske bisborsyreestere), DE-C 28 04 535 (nitrogen-holdige borsyreestere), DE-A 24 38 038 (borsyre alkylenglykol monoalkyleter estere) og DE-B 17 68 933 (borsyre trisalkoksyalkyl estere).
