Abstract

Body protection armor for the shoulder joint area, consisting of multiple armored plates, made of light metals in particular, shaped to fit the body and connected together by joints, with a shoulder cap and a shoulder joint cap hinge-connected thereto at the distal end. Said shoulder cap shaped to fit the body is constructed of two parts and comprises a base part shaped to fit the body close to the neck for hinge-connecting at least one additional frontal and/or rear cap and a supplementary part shaped to fit the body and away from the neck for hinge-connecting the shoulder joint cap, and the supplementary part can be rotated relative to the base part essentially along the shaped surface of the two parts.
