Et dentalimplantat omfatter et implantatlegeme (2) med en sentral opptaks- eller holderåpning (4), en påbygningsdel (6) med en tapp (8) som griper inn i holderåpningen (4), og også en trekkskrue (30) som griper gjennom en gjennomgangsutboring (28) i påbygningsdelen (6) og er innskrudd i innvendige gjenger (26) som finnes i holderåpningen (4).
