Abstract

En fremgangsmåte for normalisering av genuttrykkingsdata fremskaffet på en gitt microarray for en spesiell, biologisk prøve, som omfatter å sortere nevnte data som fiinksjon av uttiykkingsgrad for hvert gen, sortere en referansestandard for genuttrykkingsdata ifølge den samme fiinksjonen med uttiykkingsgrad og normalisere uttrykkingsgraden for nevnte, spesielle genuttrykkingsdata med den tilsvarende verdien referansestandarden, der referansestandarden har blitt fremskaffet fiia genuttrykkingsdata, som er forskjellig fiia nevnte, spesielle genuttrykkingsdata. Fremgangsmåten er mulig å benytte for å normalisere data som er fremskaffet på en gitt microarray ved varierende betingelser, inkludert oppdateringer av assosierte instrumenteringer.
