Abstract

Et system (1) for bekjempelse av dannelse av emulsjoner i produksjonsfluid har et styresystem som sammenlikner de volumetriske strømningsrater av olje og vann separert fra produksjonsfluidet i en separatorbeholder (16). Når forholdet av den separerte olje nærmer seg det punkt hvor emulsjoner kan forventes å dannes, blir en del av det separerte vann avledet inn i en fluldblandeinnretning (10) og blandes med produksjonsfluidet som transporteres til separatorbeholderen (16) slik at det blandede fluid har et olje/vann-forhold utenfor området av olje/vann-forholdene hvor emulsjoner kan dannes. I stedet for å sammenlikne de volumetriske strømningsrater av separert olje og vann, kan systemet alternativt påvise nærværet av emulsjoner i fluidet i separatorbeholderen (16) ved å innføre en nukleonisk nivåføler i beholderen, idet føleren er forbundet til styresystemet.
