Oppfinnelsen vedrører en olefinkatalysatorbestanddel som. omfatter en metallorganisk forbindelse med den generelle. formel (I). hvor:. M er et overgangsmetall fra gruppene 3,4-10, lanthanid. eller aktinid i det periodiske system av grunnstoffene,. hver R er uavhengig en strukturell bro som stivt for-. binder to ligander L, Log Log utgjøres av 1-4 kjede-. atomer valgt blant karbon, silisium, germanium, oksygen og bor, under forutsetning av at m+n+o er 2 eller 3,. er en ligand av cyklopentadienyltype eller er isolobal til cyklopentadienyl,. 1x2 er en liand definert som L, eller en enverdig,. anionisk ligand valgt blant N, P, B når m+n=og blant NR,. , BR, O og S når m+n=,. Ler en enverdig, anionisk ligand valgt blant N, P, B. når n+o=2 og blant,,, O og S når n+o=l,. er hydrogen, C-C2o-lkylC-C2o-kloalkyl, Cg-.
