Abstract

The invention relates to a sanitary hot water installation (1) consisting of a cold water lead pipe (4) and a water heater (23, 32), a sanitary water reservoir (22), a charging pump (14) and a sanitary water distribution pipe (9) having tapping points (21). The invention is based on the object of creating a sanitary hot water installation (1) of the generic type mentioned at the beginning, which is economic in terms of power and guarantees independently of fluctuating tapped amounts a sufficient temperature or dwell time of the quantities of warm water reaching the sanitary water distribution pipe (9), in conjunction with as low as possible a killing temperature of Legionella pneumophila. This object is achieved according to the invention when the water heater (23), the sanitary water reservoir (22) and the charging pump (14) form a closed water cycle (14, 23, 22) with a relatively high disinfection temperature when tapping is not being done, the feed pipe (25) of the sanitary water reservoir (22) being connected to a heat exchanger (10) as cooler and said heat exchanger (10) being connected, in turn, to the sanitary water distribution pipe (9). <IMAGE>
