Description
Kardus for kunststoffsprøytegods, særlig til fremstilling av tannproteser.
Oppfinnelsen angår karduser som er
fylt med termoplastisk kunststoff til fremstilling av gjenstander, særlig tannproteser. Disse karduser blir som kjent ført inn
i varmesylinderen til en sprøytegodsmaskin
og oppvarmet til innholdet har fått en til-strekkelig plastisk konsistens, hvoretter det
med trykk fra ett stempel i sylinderen blir
sprøytet inn i den foran fastspente form.
Kardusene, som vanligvis er laget av
aluminium, har man hittil fylt med et
granulat. En ulempe ved dette er at den
fullstendige plastifisering av det dårlig
varmeledende kunststoff fordrer meget
lang tid, også når kardusdiameteren holdes
så liten som mulig. Den samme ulempe
oppstår — i enda høyere grad — dersom
man fyller kardusen med kompakt kunststoff. Dessuten oppstår det skader i kunst-stoffets kvalitet på grunn av den lange
oppvarmingstid.
Kardusen og likeså de tilhørende var-mesylindre må på grunn av de forholds-messige små tverrsnitt utføres med store lengder og dette betinger at stempelbeve-gelsen tar tilsvarende lang tid. Innsprøyt-ningen skjer tilsvarende meget langsomt,
slik at det er fare for at formen ikke fylles
helt.
Disse ulemper unngås ved oppfinnelsen
som består i en kardus for formsprøyting
av avmålte porsjoner av plastmateriale,
fortrinnsvis for tannproteser, og fortrinnsvis utformet som en aluminiumssylinder,
hvilken kardus er kjennetegnet ved at den
omfatter en sats perforerte skiver eller
sammenpressbare viklinger av godt varmeledende materiale, hvilke fritt kan gli i sylinderen, dog under varmeledende kontakt med sylinderveggen, og mellom hvilke skiver, respektivt viklinger, plastmaterialet innlegges, fortrinnsvis i på forhånd tablettert form. ■
På tegningen er det vist et utførelses-eksempel av oppfinnelsen.

kardus etter bruken.
Den i eksemplet sylinderformede kardus er fylt vekselvis med tilpassede kunst-stofftabletter 2 og hullskiver 3. Varmen fra varmesylinderen (ikke vist) blir i løpet av kort tid ledet gjennom hullskivene 3, som er laget av godt varmeledende materiale og ligger tett an mot kardusveggen, til det
indre av kardusen og fordelt på kunststoff -
tablettene som ligger godt an mot hullskivene, slik at kunststoffet hurtig oppnår den nødvendige plastiske konsistens for sprøyting uten at dets gode egenskaper blir forringet. På grunn av den gode varmeover-føring kan kardusen utføres med forholds-messig stor diameter og altså med kortere lengde enn det hittil var mulig, slik at sprøytingen fullføres med betraktelig stør-re hastighet enn før. Idet stempelet i sprøy-tegodssylinderen går ned, blir kunststoffet presset igjennom hullene i de oppstablede skiver, og det får en enhetlig konsistens slik at det oppnås en absolutt garanti for en ordentlig innføring av protesematerialet i sprøytegodsformen.
Oppfinnelsen er ikke begrenset til den her beskrevne utførelsesform, idet likesom kardusene kan ha et annet tverrsnitt, kan metallinnleggene som nevnt ha en annen form; f. eks. kan de være aksialt anordnede vinger eller spiralformede (viklinger) eller lignende innlegg.
Likeledes kan hullene i innleggene ut-føres og anordnes på en annen måte så-lenge bare det i kardusen plaserte sprøyte-godsmateriale blir forsynt med innlegg av godt varmeledende materiale.
Claims (1)
- Kardus for formsprøyting av avmålte porsjoner av plastmateriale, fortrinnsvis for tannproteser, og fortrinnsvis utformet som en aluminiumssylinder, karakterisert ved at den omfatter en sats perforerte skiver eller sammenpressbare viklinger av godt varmeledende materiale, hvilke fritt kan gli i sylinderen, dog under varmeledende kontakt med sylinderveggen, og mellom hvilke skiver, respektivt viklinger, plastmaterialet innlegges, fortrinnsvis i på forhånd tablettert form.
