Abstract

Vehicle is for transport of loose granular material in bulk, and has a number of pressure vessels with airtight filler openings at the top, and outlet funnels at the bottom closed by stop valves and connected to a discharge pipe. Compressed air is supplied to the top of each vessel, and also to the funnels, which have means for loosening the material. The loosening devices (23, 25, 27, 28) are mounted above the valves (20), and extend upwards into the vessels for a considerable distance. The devices can each comprise two moving mechanical components, equipped with a number of blades (23) in a stem, moved up and down by a double-acting pneumatic ram.
