Abstract

The wall comprises a frame of U-section components with unequal shanks, in which a panel is secured by an L-section spring strip. One arm of the strip bears against the panel, and the other engages behind a hook-shaped protrusion from the inside of the frame. The back of the frame can be locally perforated in a U-shape, the shank nearest the longer shank of the member being extended and bent over into a hook at its free end towards the shorter shank. Where the frame member is used to secure panels at an angle to each other, it can have two flanges inclined to each other and with hooks formed in them. A further web extends diagonally from the join between the first two, with its outer end forked, the fork prongs running parallel to the first two webs.
