Abstract

A simple and economical device for the biological purification of waste water, etc. comprises a housing supported by a stand, and having a breather pipe extending above the surface of the water. Inside the housing a submersible electric motor is coupled to a turbine wheel beneath it, which when set in motion, throws out the water from its vanes mixed with bubbles of air drawn down the breather pipe.
