Abstract

Narrow electrically conductive strips on a glass plate, obtained by applying, drying and baking a composition containing metallic silver, are reinforced by galvano-plastic process. During the whole galvanising process, the galvanising voltage is maintained constant until the desired resistance is obtained. The simultaneous increase in current intensity is measured, and the current is automatically switched off as soon as the amperage reaches a predetermined value corresponding with the desired resistance of the conductive strips at the given voltage.
