Abstract
Description
Zelfdragende parabolische cilinder voor zonne-energie opwekkingSelf-supporting parabolic cylinder for solar energy generation
The conventional parabolic cylinders used, which are used in the generation of solar energy, have hitherto been mostly supported by craftsmen. These trusses have the disadvantage that they are labor-intensive and require a relatively large amount of material. The self-supporting shell construction of the parabolic cylinder described in this patent is especially advantageous if many parabolic cylinders are to be built for solar energy generation. The parabolic cylinder used in claim 1 of this patent, which reflects the rays falling in the parabolic cylinder parallel to the plane of symmetry of the parabolic cylinder to a line of focal points, is characterized in that the parabolic cylinder, possibly with reinforced edges parallel to the line of 15 focal points, possibly with thickening of the parabolic cylinder near the supports, designed as baffles, are self-supporting, in the sense that no additional load-bearing structure is required under the parabolic cylinder between the baffles, whereby by below is meant that the parabolic cylinder so that the plane of symmetry of the parabolic cylinder is vertical, the parabolic cylinder being placed on two or more vertical bulkheads perpendicular to the plane of symmetry of the parabolic cylinder, if the plane of symmetry of the parabolic cylinder is vertical, the bulkheads relatively easy lo odrecht the surface of the baffles, wherein the baffles deform relatively difficult in the own plane of the baffle (3) and the baffles more than twice the distance between the two edges of the parabolic cylinder parallel the line of focal points on either side from the plane of symmetry of the parabolic cylinder.
In claim 2 a device is described, wherein the parabolic cylinder is characterized in that it is provided with 034563 2 a possibility of rotation, wherein the parabolic cylinder and the partitions can rotate around the line of focal points or points located close thereto. This allows the rotation of the sun to be followed.
In claim 3 a device is described, wherein the parabolic cylinder is characterized in that the synchronous rotation control of the baffles is such that one or more baffles do not rotate about the line or points close thereto, if or the other the shot does not rotate at nearly the same speed, or, if there are several other partitions, if all other partitions do not rotate at nearly the same speed. This prevents the parabolic cylinder from being loaded on to twist.
In claim 4 a device is described, wherein the parabolic cylinder is characterized in that the reinforced edges of the parabolic cylinder are a part of a cylinder parallel to the line of focal points.
In claim 5 a device is described, wherein the parabolic cylinder is characterized in that the line of focal points is encased in a tube into which a liquid can flow, with each bearing point near the line of focal points being a different distance from the baffles has, wherein the bearing points are supported by two or more supports, and wherein the supports are also subjected to pressure and tension mainly when the parabolic cylinder is rotated about the axis, so that the supports are hardly loaded at all even when the axis is rotated. If the supports 25 are made transparent, more solar energy falls into the parabolic cylinder, and more solar energy is sent to the line of focal points.
In claim 6 a device is described, wherein the parabolic cylinder is characterized in that the parabolic cylinder 30 is placed at an angle, such that the line of focal points makes an angle of a few degrees with the ground plane.

In claim 8 a method is described, wherein the parabolic cylinder of claim 7 is characterized in that the parabolic cylinder and the baffles rotate around the line of focal points or around points close thereto.
In claim 9 a method is described, wherein the parabolic cylinder of claim 7 is characterized in that the synchronous rotation of the baffles operates in such a way that one or more baffles do not rotate about the line of focal points or close points, if or the other shot does not rotate at nearly the same speed 4, or, if there are several other partitions, if all other partitions do not rotate at nearly the same speed.
