Abstract

One aspect of the present invention is a surface-treated metal sheet including: a galvanized steel sheet; and a surface treatment coating film that is laminated on at least one surface of the galvanized steel sheet, wherein: the surface treatment coating film consists of a surface treatment composition that contains colloidal silica having an average particle diameter of 4 to 6 nm and a polyolefin resin containing no ammonia; a content of the colloidal silica is 10 parts by mass or more and less than 30 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the surface treatment composition; a coating amount of the surface treatment coating film is 0.4 to 1.2 g/m2; and an amount of sodium ion eluted from the surface treatment coating film when immersed in deionized water at 70 to 80?C for 10 minutes is 4 mg/m2 or less.
