Abstract

To provide a surface treatment agent for zinc-plated steel sheets, which satisfies corrosion resistance, adhesion to top coat paints, blackening resistance, and adhesiveness to structural adhesives. The water-based surface treatment agent for zinc-plated steel sheets is obtained by blending a zirconium carbonate compound, a specific ac1ylic resin, a vanadium compound, and a phosphorus compound, and a cobalt compound.
