Abstract

[Problem to be Solved] To provide a motor control device that can have high efficiency even when having neither a position sensor nor information associated with a connection position between a motor and a load element. [Solution] A motor control device is configured to control a motor which drives a load element having periodic load torque variation, and includes a voltage correction pattern storage unit (8) which stores therein a voltage correction pattern corresponding to angles in one cycle of the load torque variation, a motor drive voltage waveform creation unit (10) which creates a fundamental voltage waveform for driving the motor, and a motor drive voltage waveform correction unit (11) which corrects the fundamental voltage waveform by giving a correction coefficient to the voltage correction pattern. The amount of variation of a motor drive current when the motor is driven is detected with a motor drive signal generated by the motor drive voltage waveform correction unit (11), and the correction coefficient is determined as an index of the amount of variation of the motor drive current.
