Abstract

THE PLASTIC BAND SUITABLE FOR THE WINDING OF PIPES INCLUDES COMPLIMENTARY DESIGNED BAND EDGES (1, 2), ON WHICH TWO RESPECTIVE PARALLEL EXTENDING RIBS (5, 6) AND GROOVES (7, 8) ARE FORESEEN, WHEREBY THE WIDTH OF THE OUTER GROOVE (7) IS LARGER THAN THE THICKNESS OF THE INNER RIBS (6). THE COUPLING FORMED OF THE RIBS (5, 6) AND GROOVES (7, 8) IS LOCATED PREFERABLY COMPLETELY INSIDE OF THE BAND THICKNESS.(FIG. 2)
