WITH THE SAME OPTICAL FIBRE SENSOR PROBE (2), BUT WITHOUT ANY TRANSDUCER AT THE END OF THE PROBE, THE INSTRUMENT SYSTEM CAN MEASURE AND DISPLAY COLOUR LEVELS, MICROMETER DISPLACEMENTS AND VIBRATION. WITH OPTICAL CHEMICAL TRANSDUCERS, THE INSTRUMENT HAS MEASURED SALINITY AND PH, AND PESTICIDE CONTAMINATION IN FRUITS AND VEGETABLES. WITH APPROPRIATE OPTICAL TRANSDUCERS, THE INSTRUMENT SYSTEM CAN MEASURE OTHER PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL VARIABLES.
