Abstract

A METHOD AND A DEVICE FOR A POWER TRANSMISSION FROM A DIESEL-ENGINE, PARTICULARLY AN OVERCHANGED DIESEL-ENGINE (7), TO A DRIVE (3) WITH A SURFACE WATER DRIVING PROPELLER MECHANISM (4), A TURBINE CLUTCH (10) BEING CONNECTED BETWEEN THE DIESEL-ENGINE (7) AND THE DRIVE, THE DIESEL-ENGINE BEING ALLOWED TO DRIVE THE PUMP ELEMENT OF THE TURBINE CLUTCH (10), THE TURBINE ELEMENT OF THE TURBINE CLUTCH (10) BEING CONNECTED TO THE INPUT SHAFT (6) OF THE DRIVE (3) AND THE PUMP AND TURBINE ELEMENTS BEING DISPOSED IN SUCH A WAY, THAT THEY ALLOW THE DIESEL-ENGINE (7) TO INCREASE ITS SPEED TO SUCH A SPEED, THAT THE OVERCHARGE ASSEMBLY OF THE DIESEL-ENGINE (7) IS ENGAGED, BEFORE ANY SUBSTANTIAL REACTION RESISTANCE ARISES FROM THAT WATER, WHICH IS INFLUENCED BY THE PROPELLER MECHANISM (4), SUBSEQUENT TO WHICH THE PUMP AND TURBINE ELEMENTS (15,17) WILL ACT ESSENTIALLY AS A BUTT POWER TRANSMISSION IN SUCH A WAY, THAT THE PROPELLER WILL BE INFLUENCED BY THE THRUST OF THE DIESEL-ENGINE, WHICH IS INCREASED DUE TO THE INFLUENCE OF THE OVERCHARGE ASSEMBLY.
