Abstract
Se divulga una estructura compuesta la cual incluye una superficie mostrario de poliurea, o capa superior, y una capa de soporte de poliuretano. Preferiblemente, la superficie mostrario de la estructura compuesta esta substancialmente libre de compuestos organicos volatiles y es alifatica lo cual la permite ser estable ante la luz ultravioleta. Especificamente, la superficie mostrario es el producto de reaccion entre un poliisocianato alifatico o una mezcla de poliisocianatos alifaticos, y un componente de resina el cual es una poliamina. El componente de resina reacciona con el poliisocianato alifatico para formar una poliurea. La superficie mostrario tiene una dureza Shore D de 70. Como sucede con la superficie mostrario, la capa de soporte de poliuretano de la estructura compuesta tambien es substancialmente libre de compuestos organicos volatiles. Esta capa de soporte es el producto de reaccion entre un segundo componente de poliisocianato, como por ejemplo el diisocianato de difenilmetano polimerico, y un componente de resina de segunda capa (B)(II), el cual comprende un poliol con una funcionalidad de por lo menos tres. La estructura compuesta completa tiene un modulo de flexion de por lo menos 66,506 N/m2.
