Abstract

La invencion se relaciona con un procedimiento para el fresado giratorio de piezas (10) de trabajo, tales como cigüeñales o partes similares, las cuales durante el mecanizado se hacen girar alrededor de su propio eje, siendo que cuando menos dos herramientas (15, 16; 21, 22) de fresado giratorio que trabajan independientemente una de otra llevan a cabo operaciones con arranque de viruta en distintos puntos de la pieza de trabajo. Para maximizar la duracion de la vida util de las herramientas utilizadas, en particular con miras a que todas las herramientas de fresado giratorio sufran un desgaste lo más uniforme posible, se propone adaptar a variar la velocidad de giro de la pieza de trabajo con miras a obtener un mecanizado con arranque de viruta optimo de una herramienta de fresado giratorio y, regular la velocidad de giro de la segunda y de todas las demás herramientas de fresado giratorio en funcion de la velocidad de giro preestablecida para la pieza de trabajo mediante la adaptacion o la variacion.
