Abstract

Se describe un sistema de compresion de vapor en el cual una cantidad de refrigerante circula ente al menos niveles de presion en un condensador y un evaporador, respectivamente, que comprende un compresor (1) para incrementar la presion del vapor refrigerante, un condensador (5) para el vapor refrigerante de alta presion recibido desde el compresor, un dispositivo de expansion (13) tal como una válvula a través de la cual se mantiene la diferencia de presion entre el condensador y el evaporador, para controlar la extraccion de refrigerante líquido desde el condensador de acuerdo al volumen de refrigerante líquido que está dentro o detrás de la misma, un evaporador (15) para el refrigerante líquido recibido desde el condensador; un receptor desde el evaporador, con un conducto (25) de extraccion de vapor a través del cual el vapor se descarga desde el receptor para administrarse al compresor, el receptor incluye un deposito (23) dentro del cual el refrigerante líquido descargado desde el evaporador se recolecta, para controlar el suministro de refrigerante líquido al compresor; un conducto (27) de extraccion de líquido a través del cual el refrigerante líquido se suministra desde el deposito hacia el conducto de extraccion de vapor; y medios (35) para controlar la velocidad de eliminacion del refrigerante líquido desde el deposito en proporcion a la cantidad de refrigerante que se elimina desde el receptor como vapor. El sistema puede asegurar que la humedad del refrigerante descargado en el receptor desde el evaporador se pueda controlar para asegurar que esté humedo bajo condiciones normales de operacion del sistema, para optimizar el uso de las superficies de intercambio de calor del condensador y el evaporador.
