Abstract

En un procedimiento para producir melamina de alta pureza, la melamina se somete a un tratamiento subsecuente que tiene los siguientes pasos: (a) remover la mezcla de gas de NH3/CO2 de la melamina líquida; si se requiere, (b) reducir el CO2 disuelto en la melamina líquida mediante mezcla del gas amoniacal; (c) dejar que la melamina líquida repose durante un tiempo de reposo promedio de 0 a 8 horas a una temperatura de entre 430 degree C y el punto de fusion de la melamina bajo una presion parcial de amoniaco de 50 a 400 bares; y (d) enfriar lentamente en una forma controlada reduciendo la temperatura en (a), (b) o (c) por abajo de una temperatura de 330 a 270 degree C a un régimen de enfriamiento de hasta 150 degree C/min bajo presion parcial de amoniaco desde 50 a 400 bares. Las presiones superiores permiten regímenes de enfriamiento más rápidos e inversamente, las presiones inferiores requieren regímenes de enfriamiento más lentos.
