Abstract
Un compuesto de tiazolidinona que tiene la formula general: (Ver Formula) en donde W representa un átomo de azufre o un átomo de oxígeno y X representa un grupo que tiene la formula: -N(R1)-; o X representa un átomo de azufre o un átomo de oxígeno y W representa un grupo que tiene la formula -N(R1)-; R1 representa un átomo de hidrogeno, un grupo alquilo o un grupo alquilo substituido; R2 y R3 pueden ser iguales o diferentes y cada uno representa un átomo de hidrogeno, un grupo alquilo substituido, un grupo arilo o un grupo heterocíclico aromático de 5 a 6 miembros, R4 representa un átomo de hidrogeno, un grupo alquilo o un grupo alquilo de 1 a 4 átomos de carbono sustituido; R5 representa un grupo cicloalquilo sustituido, que contiene opcionalmente de nitrogeno [dicho sustituyente es esencialmente un grupo que tiene la formula: -B- ONO2 (en donde B representa una ligadura simple o un grupo alquileno) y A representa una ligadura simple o un grupo alquilenol o sales farmacologicamente aceptables del mismo; los compuestos tienen excelente accion anti-angina de pecho y son utiles como un agente terapéutico contra la angina de pecho o como un agente de prevencion de la misma.
