Abstract
Como una mejora para el proceso de produccion de ácido acrílico al someter acroleína o un gas que contiene acroleína a la oxidacion de fase gaseosa con oxígeno molecular en un reactor multitubular de lecho fijado, se proporciona un proceso novedoso capaz de producir ácido en un alto rendimiento al suprimir la generacion de los puntos con mayor temperatura en el catalizador o el aumento brusco de calor en los puntos con mayor temperatura del catalizador. El proceso del catalizador comprende rellenado, en cada uno de los tubos de reactancia, dos o más clases de partículas del catalizador de diferentes volumenes para formar una pluralidad de capas de catalizador en la direccion axial del tubo de una manera tal que volumen de partícula de la capa de catalizador llega a ser más pequeña a medida que la posicion de la capa de catalizador cambia del lado de entrada de gas de materia prima del tubo al lado de salida de gas de materia prima, cada partícula del catalizador que comprende, como el componente activo, un compuesto de oxido que contiene al menos Mo y V.
