Abstract

Esta invencion suministra un sistema de desulfuracion del gas de humero humedo, para remover el dioxido de azufre presente en este gas de humero, por medio de la absorcion dentro de una pasta acuosa absorbente, el sistema comprende una torre de absorcion, que tiene, en su fondo, un tanque para retener una pasta acuosa absorbente; una bomba de circulacion, para alimentar la pasta acuosa absorbente dentro del tanque a una seccion de entrada del gas de humero en la parte superior de la torre de absorcion y poner en contacto la pasta acuosa absorbente con el gas de humero; y un compartimiento de preparacion de la pasta acuosa, provisto en un costado del tanque de la torre de absorcion y separado de la seccion del pasaje del gas de humero por una pared de division, que tiene su extremo inferior sumergido debajo de la superficie de la pasta acuosa absorbente, por lo cual el absorbente y el agua, que constituyen la pasta acuosa absorbente, se introducen directamente dentro del compartimiento de preparacion de la pasta acuosa. Así, el sistema de suministro de absorbente se mejora para lograr una simplificacion marcada del equipo.
