Abstract

Se describe un arreglo de cojinete para una bomba, adaptado para controlar las cargas de empuje y limitar el movimiento axial indeseable de los componentes. La bomba tiene un árbol que tiene primeros y segundos extremos del árbol, y la bomba puede ser configurada de tal manera que el árbol sea impulsable desde uno o ambos de los extremos del árbol. Los primeros y segundos extremos delárbol se sostienen respectivamente en un primero y segundo arreglo de cojinete. Cada arreglo de cojinete incluye un cojinete principal radial que tiene un anillo de rodadura interno dispuesto alrededor del extremo del árbol. El anillo de rodadura interno se pone en contacto con un anillo de montaje para transferir las fuerzas de empuje axial hacia afuera contra un montaje de cojinete de empuje. Cada arreglo de cojinete se retiene mediante una tapa de cojinete que se pone en contacto con un lado externo del montaje de cojinete de empuje. Un deflector que tiene un espesor seleccionado se puede colocar ente la tapa del cojinete y el alojamiento con el fin de posicionar los componentes internos de la bomba en una posicion centrada axialmente para mantener las separaciones apropiadas con el fin de minimizar el desgaste.
