Abstract
La presente invención consiste en un procedimiento para preparar ácido carboxílico mediante hidrólisis en fase líquida de un dicarboxílato de alquilo en C1-C4, caracterizado en que se somete una mezcla de ese dicarboxilato de alquilo y de agua, a una destilación reactiva, mediante introducción de esa mezcla en la parte media de una columna que contienen una resina del tipo gel, de grupos ácido sulfónico, mantenida en su lugar con la ayuda de un soporte y que se presenta las características siguientes: -un esqueleto a base de estireno y de divinilbenceno, la taza de divinilbenceno en peso en relación con el peso total del esqueleto está comprendida entre 1 y 12. -una capacidad de intercambio de 3 a 6.5 miliequivalente H+gramo de resina seca; y mediante destilación contínua del alcohol formado por la reacción de hidrólisis.The present invention consists of a process for preparing carboxylic acid by liquid phase hydrolysis of a C1-C4 alkyl dicarboxylate, characterized in that a mixture of that alkyl dicarboxylate and water is subjected to reactive distillation, by introducing this mixture in the middle part of a column containing a resin of the gel type, of sulfonic acid groups, held in place with the help of a support and which has the following characteristics: -a skeleton based on styrene and divinylbenzene , the cup of divinylbenzene by weight in relation to the total weight of the skeleton is comprised between 1 and 12. -an exchange capacity of 3 to 6.5 milliequivalent H + gram of dry resin; and by continuous distillation of the alcohol formed by the hydrolysis reaction.
