Abstract

Se describe una composición de poliisocianato que tiene un peso equivalente de isocianato promedio de 140 a 180 y que comprende un prepolímero terminado en isocianato. El prepolímero se obtiene haciendo reaccionar un exceso de un poliisocianato que contiene por lo menos 35 en peso de isómeros de metilendifenilisocianato, en donde la relación en peso de isómero 4,4' a 2,4' es de 98:2 a 50:50, con un polioxialquilenpoliol o una mezcla de los mismos que tiene un promedio de 4 a 8 grupos hidroxilo por molécula y un peso equivalente de hidroxilo de por lo menos 500, así como un peso molecular promedio de por lo menos 1100.
