Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para preparar una espuma de poliuretano flexible piro-retardante, caracterizado porque comprende hacer reaccionar un polioxialquilen poliéter poliol que tiene un peso equivalente promedio desde aproximadamente 200 hasta aproximadamente 3000, un poliisocianato orgánico y un agente insuflante, cuyo procedimiento incluye incorporar en el poliéter poliol, melamina en la cantidad que varia de 10 por ciento en peso a 55 por ciento en peso de la composición total, como el único compuesto piro-retardante.
