La presente invención se refiere a una nueva composición fungicida agrícola y hortícola que incluye prumicina y un miembro de la familia de surfactina como componentes activos y un método para controlar enfermedades vegetales. Como la surfactina, se prefiere Surfactina e [Ile7] Surfactina. La presente invención proporciona una composición fungicida agrícola y hortícola prácticamente útil que tiene un alto efecto y una excelente estabilidad en almacenamiento, composición que además comprende cloruro de calcio para mejorar notablemente la estabilidad en almacenamiento de la misma.
