Abstract
La ¡invención se refiere a un proceso para enriquecer un mineral de hierro a partir de un mineral de hierro que contiene silicato por flotación invertida que comprende la adición de un recolector o composición recolectora que comprende por lo menos uno de los compuestos de las fórmulas RO-X-NH2 (la); RO-X-NH3Y (Ib); RO-X-NH-Z-NH2 (IIa); y RO-X-NH-Z-NH3Y (lIb), en donde X es un grupo alquileno alifático que contiene 2 a 6 átomos de carbono; Z es un grupo alquileno alifático que contiene 2 a 6 átomos de carbono; Y es un anión; y R es un grupo ahifático de la fórmula (I) C5H11CH(C3H7)CH2- (I) en donde la porción de C5H11 del grupo ahifático de la fórmula (I) comprende 70 a 99% en peso de n-C5H11-, y 1 a 30% en peso de C2H5CH(CH3)CH2- y/o CH3CH(CH3)CH2CH2-.
