Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a composiciones y métodos para regular la expresión de secuencias nucleotídicas heterólogas en una planta. Las composiciones incluyen dos secuencias nucleotidicas promotoras nuevas para los genes que codifican la proteína intrínseca del tonoplasto gama y la proteína intrínseca de membrana plasmática en la soja, así como vectores, microorganismos, plantas y células vegetales que comprenden las secuencias nucleotídicas promotoras o variantes o fragmentos de las mismas. También se proporcionan métodos para expresar una secuencia nucleotídica heteróloga en una planta usando secuencias promotoras divulgadas en la presente. Los métodos comprenden incorporar de forma estable en el genoma de una célula vegetal una secuencia nucleotídica enlazada funcionalmente con el promotor de la presente invención y regenerar una planta transformada de forma estable que expresa la secuencia nucleotídica.
