Abstract

Un sistema, para usarse en una válvula entre una aurícula y un ventrículo del corazón, incluye un catéter (170), un primer subconjunto (112a), un segundo subconjunto (112b) y una herramienta (180). El catéter se puede hacer avanzar transluminalmente hasta el corazón. Cada uno de los subconjuntos incluye (i) una atadura (130a, 130b) que tiene dos porciones de extremos (132a, 132b, 134a, 134b) y un seno (136a, 136b) entre ellas, y se puede hacer avanzar, con el seno primero, distalmente fuera del catéter y dentro del corazón; y (ii) un conjunto (118a, 118b) de anclajes (120) configurados para anclar el seno al tejido del corazón de manera que los anclajes estén acoplados de manera deslizable al seno en una serie. La herramienta se puede deslizar sobre ambas porciones de extremos de ambas ataduras hacia ambos senos, y está configurada para aplicar tensión selectivamente a cada atadura tirando selectivamente de cada una de las porciones de extremos.
